Interac e-Transfer is a service in Canada issues
1. Your money is sent from source bank using Interac e-transfer service but not received in destination bank.
-> Wait for 30 mins if you have entered correct email id or phone number for transferring funds. I received sms after 20 mins.
-> If you have destination bank auto deposit enabled but same cellphone number or email id used for other bank then most likely it will not auto deposit. But you will receive email or SMS , mostly sms. My experience I never received email.
-> Nothing happens after an hour then contact source bank for transaction status.
2. How to use same email id and phone number for two bank accounts?
-> Just keep one bank account auto deposit with phone number and other with email id
-> Keep one bank auto deposit OFF and other ON, add both email and phone number where it is ON.
My experience it never worked somehow but give try because some custmers it worked. I had to change email id of auto deposit.
